Malaysian Mud And Chemicals Sdn. Bhd. (2MC) is a joint venture company between Deleum Services Sdn. Bhd., Sabahebat Sdn. Bhd. and Baker Hughes Operations France SAS.
2MC was incorporated in 1985 to provide dry and liquid bulking services to the oil companies involved in drilling operations in Malaysia. 2MC has an established bulking facility located at the Asian Supply Base, Labuan.
Bulking services provided by 2MC covers handling, storage, pumping and transportation of materials or powders for drilling operations such as cement, barite and bentonite from one point to another by using various devices and efficient techniques.
CAMBODIA UTILITIES PTE. LTD. (CUPL)
Cambodia Utilities Pte. Ltd. (CUPL) was incorporated in Cambodia on 24th April 1995. It is a joint venture of three Malaysian companies namely Deleum Services Sdn. Bhd., Leader Universal Holdings Bhd. (Leader) and GUH Holdings Bhd. (GUH).
CUPL is the first Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Cambodia, delivering a nett capacity of 35MW electricity to the Phnom Penh transmission grid since 1997. The power plant comprises 7 units type GMT A420.12 diesel engines that are fired using heavy fuel oil.
A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) was signed with Electricité du Cambodge (EDC) whereby CUPL is responsible to undertake the design, engineering, financing, supplying, constructing, erecting, testing, commissioning, owning, operating, managing, maintaining and transferring to EDC at the end of the term of the PPA.
